Commies! by randomnine
I had trouble seeing the spread of communism, otherwsie I would have voted theme higher. Played it a bunch, though.

The gameplay was really slow - would have been much more fun if everything was just faster. I didn't like just sitting in one spot for two minutes blowing away a stack of viruses that piled up.
Really jumpy graphics - movement should have been alot smooter, and I didn't like the controls at all... let me hit the key at the right time instead of letting go, please.
Really sweet and pretty damn fun. Didn't really think it followed the theme very closely at all, though.
Tough to convert the 3d images to the 2d hex field - but pretty cool anyway
Umm... Definitely different
Controls were damn near impossible (not being able to push two keys at the same time really caused me troubles). Also, ran way too fast on my normal machines. Had to go find an old one to be able to play it at all.
The controls weren't all that intuitive (I kept thinking that the the thin part should have been forward, probably because that's how they start out, with the thin part facing up) - I often found myself going the wrong direction. I played quite awhile. It's a fun kind of action puzzle.
Menus would have helped. Also, I didn't think the theme was used for anything other than cosmetic purposes. Some movement problems were also a tad annoying - too easy to not be fully on a square, and thus accidentally push something you thought you would walk by.
Pretty fun and different. Reminded me of a keyboard dance game (like ddr, but on the comp with a keyboard) I saw my daughter playing, but not. It was really hard after the first couple levels.
Really fun, though I had trouble seeing how it fit the theme.
